Birthday Socks

I made these for Lisa's 22 birthday. She is my oldest daughter and one of the last people in my family of 6 to receive something made by her mother. These are the famous Monkey socks from Kitty. I have made many pairs of these socks and have never gotten bored with the pattern. It's so simple but yet creates this lovely and complicated looking pattern. I used one of my favourite sock wools called Austerman Step with two 2.75mm circular needles . The more you wear them the softer they get. I also made a pair of fingerless gloves with the leftovers. I will post this picture later.

Erin needed a cover for her Nano. She was waiting patiently for the one she bought on Ebay and asked if I could make something to cover her MP3 player in the mean time so it wouldn't get scratched. It's 3 1/2" X 2 1/4" and its my own pattern. Interested?

My sister-in-law had a birthday and so I made her these Face Clothes. Its actually a free pattern called the Chevron Dishcloth of which I added a single crochet edging. The cotton used was rescued from a local thrift store.
